Hi All,

I am a newbie and this is my first post. I got some one to lay laminate floor in April this year and after a month it started peaking up. When I checked most of the places no gap at all around the perimeter. Now I am planning to cut a gap. Considering this is autumn how much gap should I leave. Can I cut it without lifting it up. I am thinking of using an angle grinder ( I havent got one) with some cutting blade. Won't that disc holding nut touch the wall when I am cutting leading to a huge gap? Or is there any other way to do it? How about sonicrafter? Please Help!

Thanks in advance

you need to cut 15mm from one edge [12mm expansion gap plus 3mm to drop the floor

may be easier to remove the skirting and undercut the door frames
not forgetting the door strip or pipework
