I am laying three three different laminate flooring in three rooms (living room, hallway and dining area). All the areas lead right into another, however they three distinct spaces as they are separated by two doors

The work man says that there is a problem as the laminate flooring in the hallway (centre) is higher than the others so they are unsure on whether they can lay the flooring without future problems

Also there is debate on the type of door threshold to buy

Any advice would be great.

Well. TBH the guy whose fitting it should know! but the way to proceed is floor each room separately and use variable height threshold strips in the doorways separating the rooms (assuming there are doorways)

something like these

Thanks Eddie... Turns out he did know what he was after. There was a slight communication problem (they're Polish :D)

Out of curiosity would you say that the adjustable threshold is better than the 'fixed' ones?

No the link is a bit misleading, a variable height one is fine, doesn't need to be adjustable. (oh and sorry about the doorway bit.... must remember to read posts properly  )
