when laying a laminate floor (over floorboards) in an older house (built 1930,s) what is the best way to fit the laminate around door frames leaving an expansion gap and having it look tidy too
Cut under door frame approximately 15mm all round and make sure the laminated is not touching the door frame for expansion reason. Put a old piece of laminated upside down against the door frame and rest your handsaw onto it to cut it.
