Hi,

Does anyone have any general advice in the quality of laminate flooring? I am laying on a busy area - What should i be looking out for?

I have been told the the Howden Timberjack V-Groove - does anyone know if this would be up to the job?

Thanks,
Liam

they generally have an "AC" rating or a life in years specified.

AC3 is what i always think of as pretty good stuff, "Heavy domestic & moderate commercial"

AC5 is heavy commercial

the v groove laminate really does look the business

i must admit i don't really take much notice of the durability as i feel most laminate to be pretty hardwearing. what's more important to me is the lock system and will it fit together well (without the planks ending up looking as if they've smashed into each other).

i tend to try a few pieces to get a feel as i'm sure it's down to the manufacture not necessarily the type of locking system
