Hi,

Our light oak veneer flooring in the hall has taken a real battering from the wife's heels over the years.

I want to replace it with a good quality laminate that won't mark in the same way.

Can anyone recommend a good quality laminate floor?

Regards,

Jon

I would recommend the Quick-step range of laminate floor. It's made from a top quality High Density Fibre (HDF) core board with a scratch guard top layer.

Pergo is regarded as having the hardest wearing layers for laminate flooring. They are now owned by the same company that owns Quickstep and distributed in the UK by the same company. The Original Excellence and Public Extreme ranges have lifetime wear guarantees, however heels can still damage it so it's not completely bullet proof. It's a superb floor though,we have sold thousands of m2 over the years and many memnbers of my family have it and its performed great. Just fitted some in the Mother-in-laws new conservatory with the QuickHeat underfloor heating product, if its good enough for her...........
