My Lamona dishwasher is broken and it has been nothing but pain. I want to replace with another slim one. Is it possible to use anothe brand of the size dimensions. Can I reuse the Howdens cover so that it looks part of thew kitchen

Yes you can - but I'd choose a better brand like Bosch/Neff/Siemens myself.

You should be able to re-use the cover. Look for the mounting screws on the sides or top of the inside of the door.
