Hi all

First of all I know what Lamona can be like but I had no choice in the matter.

My cooker hood, LAM2403, hasn't been working for a few months. The light does work which obviously proves the fused spur is fine, but the motor is silent and dead.

Before anyone suggests a replacement cooker hood, this is not practical on a number of levels; I am looking at spare parts online.
My instinct tells me to start with the relatively inexpensive parts such as this PCB/Control and this Capacitor
Can anyone offer any pointers first such as which is more likely at fault given the lamps inside the hood still work and the motor does not hum at all, it remains silent. Initially it did spring back into life but only briefly.

EDIT: Just seen this thread! https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/cooker-hood-no-fan-function.507694/
So new motor needed? Great stuff :(:(:(

Many thanks!
