My Matsui cooker hood has stopped working, the problem seems to be with the motor itself, which will make a humming noise but not actually turn- maybe as if it has stalled or something. It's a 100w 240v motor.
I've had no luck finding the motor as a spare part, so I was wondering if I might be able to find an alternative motor to mount in its place?

Thanks for the reply. Afraid the impeller is not what I need, it's the motor itself.
It is a fairly chunky thing, holes in the casing so not grease filled. It makes a humming noise, maybe as though it was stalled perhaps, when you try to turn it on. So I have some hope that if I can get it open I might be able to fix it, but it's worrying that the motor doesn't seem to be available on its own...
