Hi, we have under the unit Led lights in our kitchen and I want to use these lights more than the main lights to save energy and create a more dimly lit but useable room (main light has loads of Gu10 LEDs and is too bright). I have attached a couple of pictures of the current setup, are these expandable and are they generic, can I get led strip lights to fir to these adapters to either bolster or replace with some thing brighter please? Also we’re the power comes in is it possible to fit a Sonoff smart switch so they can be smart controlled with motion sensors etc?

Thanks in advance.

The picture is from where we have had the old boiler removed so please excuse the dodgy cupboard

Could I also extend to the kick boards (route permitting) with strip leds?

Those lights are just rebadged affairs which were sold by Howdens. Also confusingly labelled as the driver is labelled for CC 700mA, but there is also a big orange '12V' label on the cable. May well have never been installed properly - could just be a random selection of parts shoved together that have never worked as intended.

While you could go searching all over to find some items of a similar make, there really is no point.
If you want new lights, buy some new ones.
Any LED lighting can be controlled by any 'smart' switch or any other kind of switch.

You have but few posts and your questions indicate that you may have little experience in this area. (Sorry)

LED strip-lights are designed to work on a certain DC Voltage. (12 V or 24 V - usually.)

If you reduce this Supply Voltage (via a dimmer) they will dim.

The description on the device pictured in Photo # 2 is confusing.
Either it provides
a constant current of 700 mA (at between 3 V and 9V) - in which case it is a DRIVER (and Dimming is not possible)
or
12 V, at up to 500 mA (6 W) - in which case it is a POWER SUPPLY.
