Hi
i have a toshiba (well kids actually  ) M50 laptop.
i have files that i want to send to another computer , which is bluetooth.

when you switch on the bluetooth, it beeps and says "not ready"
in the device manager in the control panel- it says "device working normally"
we first got the machine the xmas before last, and has always done this, but i thought, "Oh it must be me and i dont use the feature anyhow"-
but now of course it would be handy!

with bluetooth you have to "pair" the 2 devices. You should have a program for the bluetooth to do file transfers and stuff, so look for that and look for the pairing function.

Are you sure you have a bluetooth adaptor installed inside the laptop? Although there may be a switch for it, the module may not be installed but an optional extra
