I need to join a length of 10mm earth cable where have I seen these connectors they are grey with a spring clamp at both end I can use a U/G resin joint but it's a bit bulky

No its in an attic I am replacing bonding conductors or rather installing them where none has been I have used them before but I can't remeber who sell them I hav'nt googled a search yet

or

you could use a mall 4 way main earth terminal, screwed to a beam

or

a small Henley block

or

one of the brass ferrule joiners as sold for some resin joint boxes that have four grub screws.

should all be available at your local wholesale establishment for little money
 
I thought you weren't meant to use screw connectors for joining PEBs?
Unless of course you have a proper building earth martialling terminal in a prominent location.
 
Yes the screwed type, bad not to be used for earth, whilst ever other connection made is, from sockets fcu's switches mcb's incomers cpc's neutrals why not earths baffles me I don't think is mentioned in the brb but I won't bet on it perhaps the more knowlegable will let us know

Think it may be an interpretation on the reg to do with disconnection for maintenance purposes in the brb.
