Large Combi?

Closest to 40 that I can think of is the Vaillant 937 which is 37kW CH

28kW heat outpu i'm afraid!! I can think of the ATAG Q51C

""The ecoTEC plus 937 power store high efficiency combination boiler provides a high level of hot water comfort and is ideally suited to properties with higher hot water demands.
It is SEDBUK band A rated, has a 2 year warranty and offers output of 37kW DHW - 28kW CH.""

Yup... Yerr right... Thats what I get for reading the Plumbcenter catalogue

Ahhh I have figured it out... He's from Aberdeen... He's heating a blooming oil rig

No, what it is the bloke has had some calcs done on the building and reckons he needs 40kW heat output, he knows the drawbacks of a combi on hot water but he wants one and won't accept any other system. Therefore I need to show him a combi boiler with a heat output of 40kW.... big I know?

I have seen the ATAG combi's, has anyone come across any others?

why not have 2 boilers? A Vaillant ecotecplus937 (28kw ch output) combi and a Vaillant ecotecplus 415 heat only boiler. giving you 43kw of central heating and 37kw hw. Must be a b****y big house though.

and have you considered my suggestion?

Yes, I had thought along similar lines. I just need to know if there are any 40kW heat output combi's out there, so I can justify 2 boilers?

I take it you are all struggling to find one.... I am

:)

I don't know of any 40kw ch output combi's. Two boilers mean an element of redundancy (should 1 boiler breakdown) and if the house is 40kw heating load they must have room for two?

That size of house would normally have a system boiler and a cylinder. The Vaillant ecotecplus 637 has 37kw htg output fitted with a Vaillant Unistor cylinder could be fitted in a loft/garage out of the way perhaps?

that would be overkill and require industrial/commercial qualifications/corgi ticket

Tosser!!!!

Why not just buy the biggest boiler in the world and stick a rinnau plate heat EX on the side

The ACV Heatmaster 35TC nearly gets there on the CH.

The HW performance is incredible, up to 40 litres per min. Can be open flue, balanced flue etc. Customer service is carp through.
