laser level for tiling

Hello, can someone tell me what type of laser level I need for tiling my bathroom? Any makes better than others or are they all pretty much the same quality?

The DeWalt dw087k is absolutely awesome, but might be a bit too expensive if this is only a one off DIY job.

I've just looked up the DeWalt online and it seems to fit the bill but it is a little overpriced for DIY. Do you know any tool hire shops where I could hire one of those from or something equivalent?

Why do you need an expensive laser level to tile a bathroom? I’ve got a laser level but I never use it for tiling; all you need is a decent, 1m spirit level & a couple of very straight battens. I have a selection of extruded aluminium section battens but timber is OK for a one off as long as it’s straight.

It was really just to save time.... and I like playing with fancy tools

I like toys & am all for timesaving but how do you expect it to save you time when tiling a bathroom? I did try mine for setting out when I first got it but it was more of a hinderance than help; how are you expeecting to use it?
