thinking of planting a laurel hedge the area has limestone chipings would this harm the plants as i, have heard these plants are not suitable for chalky soil . thanks for your help
 
laurel certainly doesnt have any problems in chalky soil, use them all the time down here and they grow very well as well as it is well drained. limestone chippings wont effect it at all
