I have a 3m x 6m area of 600m x 600m concrete flags to go down.

I have a load of broken up hardcore to 100mm (concrete rubble, small pieces) and plan is to add a further 3 tonnes of 20mm limestone over the top to say an additional 50mm, then 2 tonnes of course sand to say 30mm. (each layer compacted with wacker). Then lay flags on top?

I was going to point flags with a dry mix of jointing sand and cement brushed in and then wash patio off so it sets? (could I just use 5mm floor tile divider?)

Will probably edge round it with recycled brick bedded in cement mortar.

This is just a patio for bbq's, no cars etc.

Is this right? anything else I should think of?
