I need to lay new floor tiles on an existing cement floor, however the floor is painted/lacqered, and therefore a cement based adhesive will not work. I could use acid to remove the lacqer but this is not something I am enthusiastic about. Is there a floor tile adhesive which (not being cement based) would allow the laying of the tile direct to the existing surface. :?:

hello mate, you have posted in the wrong forum! There is a tiling forum. Re type your post in there, the mods will have a moan for double posting but im sure if you leave a note for them asking to remove the wrong post they will for you. Good luck with your new post.
