Im having a shed erected next week and Im preparing the base over the weekend. The area on which it will sit is already block paved, and it doesn't hold any water in rain.
Im being given some concrete slabs a friend no longer needs, 1 - 2 inches high, 2 foot by 2 foot, is it worth sitting the shed on these just layed on to the block paving just to raise the shed and keep any water off the bottom of the shed. I would make sure to keep the edges of the slabs under the edges of the shed to keep any water from running on to them, or would this be over complicating it / pointless? I know the foundation of the block paving is good with a deep hardcore layer so i think the block paving should hold the shed well enough.
