Please can someone advise if i am able to use marmox board straight onto 22mm chipboard flooring using flexi floor cement?

Should i also screw down or will cement be sufficient?

My personal choice would be Aquapanel glued and screwed over Marmox, as foam backer boards don't have huge amounts of strength unless you go for a thick type.

Unless it's a wet room and you are relying on the marmox as a waterproof barrier, in which case forget Aquapanel, it's waterproof properties are non existant

Yes marmox are fine onto 22mm,dry lay the boards then fix down with a skim of flexi then screw down at 200mm centers.
