Hi there,
I need to lay vinyl floor tiles in the bathroom.
I've applied hardboard to the floorboards and primed it with a PVA solution.
I'm ready to start laying tiles bu tI have a slight dilemna.
The cowboy who owned the house before me, did a real shoddy job of tiling the wall.
there are no skirting boards so the tiles go straight down to the floor boards
the problem is the fact that the tiles were not put on flat - so rather than having a nice flat, even wall, the last tile before the external corner creates an angle with the wall.
does that make sense.
anyway, to lay tiles perpendicular to the walls is going to leave me with a bit of a mucky job where one of the tiles is going to have to have an angled chunk cut out of it to fit 'flat' against the wall.
Does this sound ok, or is there a better way of doing it?

also, can anyone recommend an effective way of templating around toilets and pedestals etc? before cutting the tiles?
