On my phone the copy/find etc appear above the selection, unless the selection is very near the top of the page, and hence don’t collide

However, it’s not DIYN’s fault and I wouldn’t expect the website to be able to know where the copy/find etc overlay has appeared, in order to render its selective quite buttons in a different location, so you may well be stuck with it thus unless a code change can move the buttons down some more so as to clear the copy/find regardless of where it appears. If the behaviour has recently changed Mottie, perhaps eg you’ve updated your iPadOS and now it shows its copy/find buttons in a different place

I don't see that kind of thing. Perhaps it is because I tend to access this site via my laptop?

On my phone, the copy and find options usually show up above the selected text, so they don’t overlap with the buttons unless I select something close to the top of the page. I don’t think DIYN can really control where the browser places that menu, though. Maybe the best workaround would be to move the selection buttons a little farther down so they don’t clash with it. If this only started happening recently, it might also be worth checking whether an iPadOS update changed how the selection menu is displayed.
