Panels are graded depending on their use. For consumer use, grade B panels are used and up to 5 dead pixels is considered normal. Mind you, I would still be ****ed to get one with any deads.

Each to their own, but I gotta say that case looks like the kind of thing they serve drinks from on aeroplanes !!
I thought it was "dead pixels per million pixels" personally. Rumour is that many Sony PSPs have been plagued with such issues.
