Hello all, I am just flashing the lean-to pitched roof on the extension I have just built. The problem I have is that I need to install lead flashing where the roof meets the wall of the house. However, as this is a flat surface and the roof is not, this poses quite a challenge. I have been looking at my brothers extension which uses a very similar tile to ours and it looks very neat. I am using Redland Grovebury tiles.
I am thinking that it might make things easier if I cut the lead to something like 750mm lengths rather than 1500mm. I am using code 4 lead. I have been told that I should have gone for code 5 as it is easier to shape. I have also been told that I could apply heat to the lead to make it more easier to shape.
Any help would be much appreciated.
