lead is probably best, though you can employ a flat roofer to line the trough with mineral felt instead.

Lead and stone are a great combination. It'll last a lifetime too.

Have you seen the price of lead lately? £250+ I will need as the total length is 21m. It will last the longest, but a cheaper alternative will be need. You can get these rubber liners, but can't find a suppier. Any ideas?
