Lead pipe query

Ay-up.

i'm soon to be installing a new bathroom, and in the process I'm going to be replacing the old lead piping but I'm a bit confused over the sizes of pipe. I've know about the Lead-Loc things, but which one would i need. The hot water pipe has an external diameter of 28-29 mm and the cold water has an external diameter of 23-24mm.

Any way to tell the 'weight' of these pipes? or is it ok to buy a 6lb lead-loc and shave the pipe to fit?
