Should I have a lead incoming water pipe replaced? The way I see it, its been there 100 years and nobody died.

Everything after the stopcock is copper.

Having the house pretty much replumbed next year, will see about doing a lot myself in speedfit, but wondered whether to have the main incoming replaced while im at it. It goes straight out the back and a total of 10ft to the pavement.

My water pressure is fairly low - its easy to put my finger over the mains tap and stop the flow. Would replacing the lead improve this?

If you can stop the mains water with a finger, that is rubbish so definitely get that investigated. A new supply should help with that.
A straight 10ft to the pavement probably won't cost much to replace anyway, so may as well get it done, plus you can get some money for the old pipe as scrap.

As for poisoning, if you live in a hard water area the pipe is probably lined with scale so no lead in contact with the water.
