Lead ropeyarn faucet help

Any tips out there for chasing out a cast faucet, im told its ropeyarn/lead filled.

I hope to clean out the fitting and refit with 110 soil onto a flexi for a pan.

any tips welcome.

The first 1" or so will be filled with Tarred twine.

The lead top coat will be hot lead, ladled in use a rats tail, or lead wool, in either case getting it out assuming it was put in by a proper plumber will be interesting

The only way I know is with a thin screwdriver/chisel and dig it out in little bits.
