Hello all,

My roof lead valley started to leak 1 month ago. It is a 1920s roof never been fixed. I was told to touch it the least possible as it quite likely if molested too much will leak at other places.

As you can see in the photo, there are several areas with holes or cuts on the lead. Is this a DIY work? I had 3 quotes.

One full lead valley replacement with code 4 lead and tower scaffolding coming to a total of £1200

And then two quotes that think that fibreglass is the solution from £700 to £550.

What's the usual price for a lead valley replacement? Is the FiberGlass option viable?

Thanks all
