Having trouble finding a set of taps to suit a friend.

They need a set of taps with a shower head attachment, but the existing taps have had the holes drilled at centres not standard to most sets. (145mm reqd)

Can anyone suggest a solution other than fitting a mixing shower, while sticking to the £200 budget?

Cheers!

could you maybe go for a 4 piece set ? like this....

That would allow you to use the 2 existing holes, and then simply add extra holes for the outlet and handset ?

Well if standard holes are 180, as i think, then the holes at 145 ctrs would be covered by the new taps , as long as it can be sealed to stop water getting under new tap and causing damage it should be ok.
Cheapest option i guess.
