Sole traders get sod-all until June at the earliest

I don’t think the PAYE scheme will be much sooner; the web site for submitting claims won’t be live for a while yet.

My customer(s) generally pay about 6 weeks after the end of the month in which they receive the services, so this isn’t all that much slower.

get a grant payment, which is taxed

It’s based on your previous pre-tax profits, so taxing it seems right to me.

HI everyone, thanks for your replies, much appreciated. Yes the company are Ltd so it would seem they have decided to close the entire business to claim the 80%. I still think they should have at least 1 plumber on their team available to undertake repairs etc. I'll have to find an emergency plumber to do the work and bill it back to them. I won't be attempting the repair myself !

It would appear the leak relates to the bath or sink waste.
