Can I use a leak inhibitor additive in my combi boiler, without damaging the rubber seals on the plastic heating pipework?

I have used leak sealers on various systems with out a problem. Have you got a leak?

Thanks for the reply Oilman. I'm not sure if I have a leak or not, but if my problem is not an undercharged pressure vessel, and no obvious problem with a leaky pressure relief valve, a hidden leak is under the floorboards is the only other thing that I think may explain why I have to top up the water pressure on a weekly basis. A mouse has previously gnawed through one of the plastic pipes, so maybe I have more unwanted visitors!!
