my boiler is leaking . do I need to call a plumber or could I fix it?

Telling us more about it would be a great help but seeing as you havent done that already you might be best getting someone in.

It is leaking from the bottom. It had gathered in the metal box for quite sometime I assume and it has started to rust the outside frame.

Sorry Jacksons I have nothing against DIYers proved by the fact that I post here, but you are not a DIYer. You see a white box with a leak from the bottom. A DIYer would see much more.
