Leaking boiler

Hi, I discovered today that my Grandee boiler has been leaking water from the following place:

I think this is the flow switch?

Can the black plastic part be tightened or is it a case of replacing it as a unit with the bit of pipe attached?

i would be surprised if a tighten up would work, especially in that condition but what have you got to lose?
a sensible fella would have the new part with him in case the tighten up did more harm than good (likely)
 
These boilers seem to leaking and the annoying thing is you can't get the tools in to undo things without disassembly other pieces that then start to leak.
It's a pants design whoever thought of the layout should be taken out and shot.

Anyway use some limescale remover on it. If you can get it off
without any problems it should just require another washer.
