We have just moved into a house that has a Bosch dishwasher (no manual supplied) which leaks from what looks like a drain. The model is an SG1 (I think) with water, electric and waste connected on the bottom at the rear of the dishwasher. However, on the front of the dishwasher, at the lower L/H corner, there is a hole (about 1/4” Dia.) fitted with a rubber plug which constantly drips. Not having been the proud possessor of a dishwasher before, I’m seeking advice before I permanently seal the plug!

I've only repaired one Bosch d/washer and that was an electrical fault so I can't help directly :( .

However, I did find a UK website that had exploded diagrams of the Bosch d/washer I was working on. There was also a complete parts list including prices  .

You could try to find the site and it may give you some clues as to what this part is. I would have used Google to search. And yes, you would think that even an idiot like me would have bookmarked the site wouldn't you. Well, I did, but it went to heaven with the rest of the data on the hard drive.

Hope that helps.
