leaking chimney mortar?

Hi everyone,
long time no log in!
Anyways Bad leaks in the bedroom during driving rain ,played detective a bit but am reluctant to play spider man on the roof,at my age.
Took a photo do you think this is the culprit?
had the house repointed about 3 years ago but they didnt do the chimney.
Is this a reasonable assumtion ,this is the prob.
