Hi there

A mate sent me a picture of his leaking dishwasher spigot

bill drain.jpg

In the meantime he has put some parcel tape over it, and a jug under it. It only leaks if the washing machine drains at the same time.

I am guessing that it has a right angle spigot at the end. I am also guessing that, looking at the green one, it is not tapered.

Would he be better off with a replacement spigot or would a jubilee clip and some LSX work? And if a new spigot, does any know if a 40mm spigot will work?

Tnx

Tell him to get rid of that whole joke of a schebang that's called a bespoke (ikea?) multi sink waste system and fit a proper system by McAlpine.

That will always cause problems and leaks because they are an absolute joke of a waste setup and are an absolute disaster waiting to happen.
