Can anyone offer any advice on how to stop this leaking where shown , where the circlip is.

I'm hoping I don't have to drain the system to remove the valve...

The rubber o rings more likely failed on the spindle.
You'll have to remove the complete brass insert.

Thanks. Will I have to drain the towel rail before removing the insert - or will the spindle / valve remain inplace? (like they do on a tap when you remove the gland nut)

Can anyone advise on this query? Thanks.

If you remove the insert from the valve you'll need to drain down at least to below the rad supplies.

Hi,

I have the same issue (water leaking from around spindle). Can you replace just the spindles in angled towel rail valves (like in normal rads), or do you have to replace the complete unit?

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but seemed ideal.

Cheers
