Hey, I have a question, just a moment ago the kitchen faucet wont stop leaking. When I say leaking, I mean full on flow of water, as if i have the tap on. I have turned the water flow off through the stopcock under the tap, and I was wondering if keeping that stopcock closed for a day will cause any pipes bursting, or increase in pressure. Can you help me?

Closing the stopcock won't do any harm.
I thought that. I thought that it would just be the same as turning the tap off, but better safe than sorry
