Leaking Mixer tap! help!

[Sculdugery]

Hi, can anyone help me, i have a Ital Rimini mixer tap in the kitchen which now has a leak. I took the spout off to see about the o-rings but they look fine.

So how is the tap leaking? thanks

I'd personally give the base a bit of a clean, and fit new rings. It might be dirt stopping a decent seal.

i did clean it and replaced rings but still leaked even worse so put the old rings back on but still leaking

Maybe something to do with the white ring the grub screw goes into?

A new cartridge isn't too much so you could always replace it if the cleaning fails.

I assume it's leaking from the body, and not dripping out of the spout.

ok thanks ill have a look at the body....didnt think it was leaking when i took the spout off......ill have a look later cheers

Ah. If it's not leaking at the point where the spout meets the body - you can ignore the o-rings. It'll be the tap cartridges.

So the cartridge goes into the spout?

Theres a big allen key slot at the end of the spout.

Any places online to get these?
