Hi, the valves either side of my bathroom radiator are leaking at the bit where turn the valve to open and close. When have them both totally closed no water comes out, but when turn the valve it is leaking at the handle bit, am i going to need a new radiator?
No need to replace the radiator but you may have to service the valves as it sounds like the glands are leaking which will require just a tighten at least or a drain down to at least below that radiator level at worst
The caps at the end screw off & you will see a screw inside which holds the chrome head on.Probably needs a new o ring on the spindle,pretty sure you can do it without draining.
