Re-written with more detail and to make sense!...
I bought the property a few months and this was on my do to list, but I have no idea really where to start. I've done all the other works in the house, but nothing structural like this.
The previous owner bridged the gap between the outbuilding to the side to make an additional room to the house, however its been done so poorly that I have water coming down the wall inside this room (approx 3m x 4m).
The wall used in the gap between the outbuilding and house is stud on either side, with a small door on the garden side. The main house is wimpey nofines construction and I think the outbuilding would of been of the same construction too.
Here are a few photos so you guys have an idea of what I am on about:
I've annotated in a few photos but essentially I have water coming down the wall apart from where the original outbuilding structure side.
What would be the best way to rectify the leaking? Take both parts of the roof off and put a new single roof be possible? Is that even structurally possible as it stands?
Any advise would be appreciated
Cheers
Dan
