Hi, looking for some advice. We have a small leak coming from somewhere in our shower unit. I have two suspects :

One corner, where the grout appears to have deteriorated slightly. What is the suggested repair for a small area of grouting/ Is it possible to use a clear sealant over the area? Photo attached . . . .

Also, its possible that water may be seeping through a screw. Is it ok to put a dab of sealant over the screw and put the cap on top of that. Photo also attached. . . .

Any advice gratefully received. Many thanks.

Are saying you have a specific water leak? If so where does the water show & how much of it is there?

I never grout the adjacent corners of showers, it’s not good practice as any differential movement between the walls will cause the grout to crack. Water will get in which will cause all sorts of nasties to grow behind the tiles & eventually cause tile failure; if it's just untanked plasterboard behind the tiles it can disintegrate rather rapidly. I would rake out the grout, let it dry out thoroughly & re-seal with a bead of silicone.

You can put a dab of silicone over the screw but I suspect neither of these would let enough water through to show a significant water leak elsewhere. Do you have a concealed shower valve or pipe work? It may be leaking behind the tiles!
