My shower drain is leaking.
Below the shower is the kitchen and when using it water leaks into to the downstairs kitchen.
My builder wants to cut a hole into the roof into the kitchen to fix it from there but we need to get the material asbestos tested first.
The drain pipe goes 1 metre to outside to the common gutter so the water doesn't have to go far to drain. I have isolated the leak to the waste pipe by pouring water straight down the funnel.
I would appreciate your opinion as to whether there are any easy fixes for this? any kind of drain sleeves that could form a temporary seal?
