Leaking tap, how to repair.

Took some time to work out how to get into the tap, left hand hot one leaking,

The spanner size is 18 mm, put a socket on it, but seems does not want to budge, not used excessive force as wonder if standard right hand thread, or some thing else needs removing.

Says heritage 1924 on taps, I assume it comes out as a module, any tips.

Try dousing in a lubricant spray, and or boiling water over it.

Avoid any twisting that may go on beneath the tap......that often ends in tears!
Do you have an impact gun, with a deep drive socket? They are conventional RH threads.
