leaking tap

can any one please advice me as to how to fix a leaking/dripping tap in my kitchen. it has a single outlet for both hot and cold water. i think it is the hot water that is dripping but i am not sure how to open up the hot water switch and fix it.please advice. i have sent a picture to the administrator to be attached to this message. hopefully that will help. please advice.

You will need to replace the tap washer if it has one, if it is a ceramic valve you need to replace the whole valve, have a look in the faqs

thanks pete for the reply. i however cannot find anything on the subject in the faqs section under plumbing and central heating. i have taken a picture of the tap but cant upload it to the site. wish i could show it to you.
sorry i am useless with plumbing so bear with me.

does anyone know how to upload images onto the site?thanks
