Hi guys,

I had a drip from my Deluxe chrome monobloc tap.
I fixed it by removing the cold tap side and replacing washer.

Now water is leaking from bottom of base. Shining torch at base and switching on tap you can see water leaking from the base. I've attached a photo.

How do I fix this please? Thank you.

Seems really difficult to get at underside of tap. I guess you need specialist tools?

I'll get a tap spanner and remove it all. Let's see what's going on underneath the tap body.
I didn't think water could leak between body and sink
I'll just investigate before deciding what to do next.

If its the flex connections then it would be leaking underside and not on top of work counter. My Guess would be its a fracture. Unless the tap has not been fixed down and seal properly in the first place.

Just got to get right size. Screwfix selling monobloc for 39.99

You cant go wrong with size. Just be sure to get a good one. They are not made like they used too... also would make it easy to have flex tails and not copper static ones.

Small set of box spanners would help you. (Some taps come with a box spanner.)
