Leaking TRV

In my bedroom is the rad. Usually it is off, but for a couple of days now I turned it on for a bit to warm the room up.
I removed the top thermostat section and there was a build up of water where the pin sits.
I have pushed the pin in and out to see if it is muck, but no change.
The TRV is from Screwix about 5 years ago.
Apart from changing the valve is there a way?

Which make of TRV is it? A photo may help!

Make is not known, but it is not Danfoss.
Marked on the Thermostat is E.C.A. a brand name I guess?
On the pic the water is on the area round the white nylon disc and the brass nut around the pin.

Try tightening the brass coloured nut just below the pin. If this is already tight, and/or the TRV keeps leaking, then the gland under the pin has gone. Replacement of the TRV is the only answer.
