I noticed some mould growth a while back on wallpaper in my kitchen. It's been on my "to do" list for a while but recently I have discovered water is actually dripping in through the top of the kitchen window (around which the mould was shwoing originally).
The render outside the kitchen is cracked (again only just noticed this).
Could the two be linked?
There appears to be a small rust stain immediately above the kitchen window.
Any help welcome - I don't even know which type of trade to call to look at the problem. Windows? Builders? Plasterers?
Thanks in advance.
Tony.

as soon as you said 'rendered' the job became one to avoid.

the rendering can make it difficult to pinpoint the cause.

a site visit is the best solution.

Thanks.
Would I be right in thinking that the water I am seeing running down into the top of the window is coming from water ingress via the crack(s) in the render?
Would I also be right in thinking that repairing the render will solve the problem?
Or am I looking at stripping the render, drying the wall, etc etc etc.

Is it a job for a builder? A plasterer?

Thanks again.
