I have got a lean-to conservatory on one side of the house. There are a couple of water leaks from where it joins to the wall it has been installed against. I suppose the easiest repair is to get some crawling boards onto the roof and reseal between conservatory and roof. It is about 5m long and there is a long wooden batten against the wall, which the roof rests on, but how will this be fastened to the wall? Thanks.

Cavity wall or solid? Exposed brick or rendered? lead flashing? Cavity tray inserted if cavity wall? Got a photo or two?

an extra precaution could be propping the area where your crawl boards are from underneath with a T shaped prop to minimise the load, be careful with the floor though

Thanks. The wall is solid. I know, I've tried drilling through it! it is a 4in thick block with stone cladding. The floor is solid as well.
