I have a leather chesterfield settee, oxblood colour.
The leather seat cushions are getting severely cracked and faded.

Anyway to make them presentable again? Could I put on some oxblood shoe polish or would that transfer to my trousers when I sat on the settee?!

You can usually have them re-connolised, I have had it done in the past with car leather seats and can't see why they should be different. I have never used these people the link is just to give you an idea.

Leather restorers may be under tanneries or re-conolising in the Yellow Pages etc.

I wouldn't put shoe polish on, it never dries properly as it is a waterproofer, saddle soap and leather restorer may help though.
