Leaving soapy water and won't reach max spin

Hi there, my hotpoint WM64 is washing fine, but only spinning upto approx 900rpm instead of the full 1200rpm. Also, it\\\'s leaving soapy water in the final rinse. Please can help with any suggestions? Many, many thanks.

Sounds like a partial blockage. If you take off the bottom rear panel you will see the hose from the drum to the pump contains a trap. You will probably find the trap needs cleaning out.
